When I was teaching in Gallatin in the mid-90s Thomas "TD" Woods was a legend, along with his brother Carl "Goo Baby" Woods.. Thomas played at Tennessee & Carl at Vanderbilt. Great players, my favorite was "TD" (of course). :cool:

TD Woods was a star, a Volunteer great!

The 1989 squad was arguably the best team in the country. Went 11-1 with an only loss against Bubba after being hosed in typical fashion by the refs at Legion Field in Birmingham. I thought this team was worthy of a share in the national title

Like a lot of Vol greats, he is probably not remembered like he should be. But he was definitely not under-appreciated in his own time.
