He should have stopped and yelled "Line!" when they asked him that one.

It is just nice to see the idea of a fair tax in the public forum.

To me, it seems that he just said that if it passed, he'd sign it? Do senators normally sign legislation when it passes...I mean, each Senator? If so, then maybe it was less about the tax, and more about signing it because the Senate and House deemed it good?

I didn't get to watch the video, so can someone clarify this?

Senators don't sign anything when legislation passes - Presidents do. He's running for President and said this in context of being President.

Gotcha. That still raises the question...did he say it because he believes that if it's good enough for Congress then it's good enough for the country?

I'm still trying to decide if Mike Huckabee or somebody like that has a chance or if I'm going to be forced to try and stomach Mitt Romney.

Right now it's Mitt, Rudy, Fred, and John. Even if others have written McCain off, I can't. Actually he's in a good position to law low and recover while the others duke it out. Once Fred jumps in his past will be a big issue and his lack of credentials will erode his top status. Rudy is hard for many on the right to swallow and Mitt being Mormon is hard for others to swallow as well. Mitt or Rudy will have the main momentum coming into Super Duper Tuesday as they are now calling it.
