sanders was right. as of yesterday when he talked to him and today DD is still the coach of the VOLs.

the coaching fraternity is close knit. i am guessing if Hart hasnt told Dooley, then Hart hasnt started the search.

Which unfortunately leads me to conclude that Harts top target will be "Kirby Smart". It is common knowledge that Hart has had Smart in his sights since the UK game. That bringing Sal in this year was kind of a position for Smart if DD was let go.

They better start talking or looking for a new job. I'll give Hart till 5pm before I want him gone too because if Dooley is here tomorrow then Hart is fine with BS.

I'm sure Hart just read your message and is now planning the press conference. Lol good grief people, we have two games left and can still be bowl eligible. People say "we don't want a crappy bowl." But any bowl game brings needed revenue and would mean a lot to these seniors. That's why nothing is being said. Bowl games bring lots of cash to the schools and invade you haven't heard we need cash!

I'm hoping your wrong. We have had enough Bammer rejects on our sidelines, AD Office etc. Smart is not the guy to get us back.

Volquest just took down its report of DD getting fired. Sounds like someone got mis information. You guys are just assuming that UT has all these great coaches knocking Hart's door down. Reality, We had to settle for bottom Tier Coach when Kiffin left. Hart might be finding out that what he has now might be better then what he can get to come and Coach at UT. If there was any Truth about these so call Elite Coaches wanting to Coach at UT. Hart would have done Fired DD.

I hope it's not Kirby Smart.But nothing would shock me at this point.Unless they hired Ron Zook.

i do not want Smart that is for sure.

my only reliable source is at ESPN. He told me several weeks ago that they were confident if Gruden went back to coaching it would be in the NFL. That they have to check out the rumors if they start gaining momentum. For the record he is a die hard Vol fan same as me and would love nothing more than a Gruden on the sideline. I posted that at least on TOS when the "Done Deal" rumors were hitting.
