Thoughts after 6 games.

I don't start many threads. I don't even post that often, in usually just an observer on here. I just want to get my thoughts out after six games. Obviously, nothing new...heart breaking loss, kind of used to those by now. It sucks we lost. That would of been a turning point with this team. However I still think it will be a turning point. Yes they've stayed close in games before, but that one, they had and gave it away. I think they gained confidence and will play their hearts out the rest of the season. I have been one calling for Worlelys head, but I ate crow today. He played very well. Neal has been great the last two games. This team is improving each week. Lets see if Worley had a fluke game, or if he is improving. If we play like we did today the rest of the year we will at least be a 7-5 football team with chances at 8-4 and even .9-3. We all know the goal is 6. I feel great about Kentucky and Vandy now. And oh. BUTCH GETS IT. That was amazing, I thought we were going to get beat by 20+. This D has improved a lot, still aren't great by any means. Also, we have some young studs on both sides of the ball. I feel great about the future, last week I felt pretty bummed about. Lets see what happens in 2 weeks! GBO

from a won lost perspective , we are where I thought we would probably be,I'm like you and others,hoping they get the 6 wins for the practice and a bowl game,still a lot of work to do,but I have gain a high measure of respect for the team,so who knows

I think you are on to something tonight.

I saw players in TEARS tonight after the game. I honestly believe that they will have a winning season this year. Can we beat Bama? I don't really think so.. But I honestly believe that USCjr is winnable, as well as the remainder of the schedule...with a caveat..

They have to play at the same level they have tonight...
