I think there are too many people that down play strength of schedule. Sure, A&M and Florida had two losses (as mentioned in the article), but they were much better football teams than Tulane.

Whenever given the chance, King will bellow about how his Tulane team would have beaten our Vols. I hope he loses his feet

I think they could have

If that defense could handle McNabb, they could handle Shaun King. Plus, Tulane did not have Keith Bulluck at LB. They would have been completely outclassed along the trenches. Tee would just give it to the procreator every play for an easy six yards minimum.

I'm fine with thinking Tulane could have gotten a spot in the Sugar Bowl. I think it would have probably been a repeat of Hawaii's shot against Georgia 6 years ago.
