Thoughts on Mark Sanchez

What are your thoughts on Mark as an NFL starter? Do you think he is a good pro prospect? I am a Jets fan and would appreciate your thoughts. I honestly have mixed feelings considering he left s a junior. Although I said all along that i like him as a pro better than Stafford,we got the best QB in the draft imo.

The bad thing about Sanchez is that he doesn't have a lot of experience. I realize that Cassel had less experience...but I wouldn't want him QBing my team either.
Sanchez will do alright with a team like the Jets. The system they'll implement will set him up for moderate success.
I do think he'll have a better 2009 season than Stafford. I just don't see either growing into league superstars.

Sanchez stepped into a great situation. Outside of Minnesota, there wasn't a better place situation-wise, that a young QB could come in, play immediately, and have a good season.

This team is a running team first. They have a great young offensive line, and 2 good backs in Jones and Washington. Keller will have a fantastic season, as I can see him being Sanchez's go-to guy. Cotchery looks to be the #1 WR on that squad. Not to mention, they will have a better D this year with the addition of Bart Scott and Lito Sheppard.

I don't think he will have a season like Ryan or Flacco, but if they can limit his mistakes, the Jets could be flirting with the AFC East title.

sanchez just has that it factor. pete carroll said he worked harder than any PLAYER he's ever had. NOt just qb. PLAYER. I'd bet my mortgage he will at least be a servicable nfl qb.
