Thoughts on the line vs UTSA

I haven't seen this discussed. My apologies if I missed it.

The line is currently Tennessee -21.5 and the O/U is 58.5

By my math, that's a score prediction of 40 - 18.5


Thoughts? Fair line?

Seems like a classic sucker bet trying to get people to jump on the +21.5 action with how our offense has been sputtering compared to expectations. Hoping that means good news for the good guys, but I'm staying away from this game at all costs.

Don’t know much about their defense, other than they couldn’t stop Army’s running game, even knowing what was coming.
I’d say it depends on whether or not their QB starts, although the backup did well against Army.
Hopefully, the Vols will stomp on it early and often and this line will be a moot point.

Honestly, i would bet the line against us if you held a gun to my head.

We failed to cover against AP and UF and UTSA is a lot better than AP was.

I guess it all depends on if we get Mays back or not. Still not sure we cover though.

With the way we are currently playing, this game is by no means a layup win.

It could easily turn into a dogfight unfortunately. It depends on how well the line run blocks for us imo. We pretty much know how Milton will look.

We tend to make bad QBs look like Heisman finalists. A good QB is our worst nightmare until our offense can match one.

UT is too much of an enigma for me to bet on them right now. I took them against UVA - but haven't touched them since. And for the record, I will bet against UT if I think it's the right call (I know how sacrilegious that sounds) but I can't just figure them out.

won't lie. I bet the money line against us. Not because I believe we will lose but because I only threw 10 bucks down. If we win, I'm in Neyland and happy. If we lose, I'm mad but at least I made 82 dollars profit.

I want to se the VOLS execute a near perfect game. Few penalties. Nothing stupid like running out of bounds short of line on 4th down or penalty on 3rd and short. Maybe some long passes.

This said, I wouldn't bet that line.
