1. Tony Jones was terrible in his debut. Tobias scored two straight baskets to cut it from 13 to 9. Pelphrey calls a timeout, and we sub out Tobias for Pearl the next 2-3 minutes. No timeouts the last 4 minutes. Bad in game adjustments especially defensively, considering the same play was ran 4 straight times, 2 that resulted in alley oops.

2. Cameron Tatum is killing us offensively. He had a chance to give this team all the momentum towards the end of the game after we got about 3 offensive rebounds, and he clanked an open 3 something he has done the past 3 weeks.

3. Maymon can sit on the bench. Sure he gives effort, but even in that Memphis game nothing he does looks pretty and more times than not those shots he throws up are not going to go in.

4. Brian Williams is well, Brian Williams pre-NCAAT last year.

5. Tobias is a beast as we all know, HAS GOT TO BE MORE AGGRESSIVE. He could've taken Sanchez any time he was on him. Yes, he got 20+ points, but he could've went for 40 today if he wanted to.

6. Hopson is still Hopson. Soft, no handle, and terrible D.

7. Big drop off defensively when Goings is out of the game.

8. Fields brings a lot of energy to this team and helps us both defensively and offensively as he keeps the ball alive on the rebound a lot.

9. Bone needs more minutes.

10. What we have is again the most inconsistent team I have ever seen. Brian Williams, Scotty Hopson, and Cameron Tatum are the most Jekyll-Hyde type players that may have ever won the orange. We know 2 things when we step on the floor, Tobias can score when he wants and Goings is going to bring energy on the defensive end and does a good job running the point. After that, we just have to wait for the game to unfold to see what the other players do.

I agree with the timeout situation. Gotta managed them better (last timeout with 3:02 left in game. we could have used that in the last possession

I think this team played with a lot of effort, but lost the games due to missing free throws, which is inexusable, especially when your senior starter misses the front end of 2 1/1's. Arkansas played great D, a lot of the turnovers (besides Hopsons) in the second half were not careless, just great D by Ark.

Jerome Maymon is not the answer and does not have a lot of discipline, I honestly would rather see S. Pearl on the floor at this point because he makes better decisions. Maymon cannot make free throws and had 3 to's in the first half, both show lack of discipline. I thought Fields played one of his best games of the year and looked very inspired, which I am very happy to see. Arkansas is a very tough team to beat on the road. We have to secure the ball better and I think both Golden, Bone and McRae need to see more minutes. I think we need more athletes on the floor and the best defensive players at the end of the game,

I am a bit unsure of Jones coaching abilities allowing Arkansas to continually run that pick and roll and dish it off under the basket. Jones did limit the pick and roll at the top of the key and 3 point shooting after the first few minutes of the first half, but then Arkansas just started taking it to the rack.

This loss is not the end of the world. We will beat florida unless they shoot lights out.

This team played with a lot of effort in the last 4 minutes. If they had played with the same effort in the first 36 minutes, they win by 15-20 points over an inferior team. This is by far the laziest team Tennessee has had since Buzz was fired.

We haven't exactly burnt it up in late game situations when we had timeouts.

The good news for me, at least, is that the game was so bad I actually forgot about the end of the MCB for a little while.

Took way too long to develop. Harris rushed the shot to beat the buzzer. That's why it was so far off.
Not defending the shot, but I think previous meltdowns resulted in worse looks.

You absolutely nailed it. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Why didnt Golden see the floor after the mini run he and tobias went on before the moronic sub to take them out?

They all resulted in the same outcome. It was a pure blown assignment by an Arkansas guy that Harris was even open. It was definitely nothing we did.

He was mesmerized by the Curly Neal impersonation Goins was doing.

That last set was atrocious. All I said was the final shot was a better look than the previous ones of the near half court variety.

It's pretty safe to say that lately our last second offense is Buzz Pettersonish.
