he posted a thread with a video and, at the time, it just looked kinda dorky, but the animation was pretty cool

then about a month ago I started seeing trailers for it and knew I'd seen it before

I didn't see any of that (the thread you're talking about), but I took my 10 year-old daughter and our niece to see it a few weeks ago. It is a really good one. I'd really like to see the thread you're looking for now.
