What is the deal?Everytime I look at the board it looks like the page has changed.Everytime someone gets a thought in their head, they make a thread.I wish some of these people would think before making new threads.

That makes two of us. The sad thing is that as bad as it looks sometimes, it would blow your mind to know how many threads are being merged.

It's like a cat rodeo . . . and some of the cats have tourette's syndrome.

If you can't post more than two sentences in your new thread, chances are, it could go in one of the already existing threads.

If you use more than one smiley in your new thread, chances are, it could go in one of the already existing threads.

If your thread title includes something to the effect of "My thoughts" or "Upon leaving ________", chances are, it could go in one of the already existing threads.

If your thread title matches another thread title, chances are it could go in that existing thread.

I've had some threads deleted before and it pissed me off, but last night it must have been hard work to merge all of that stuff

Usually, I get the picture after one delete and start posting in other threads

It is rare that the thread is deleted... it just gets merged into another existing thread. Whoever posted the subject first gets the indication as the originator of the thread.

I don't know if it is possible or not, but if we could get a feature that redirects you when a thread gets merged it would be helpful. Several times I've been following a thread while it is merged and when I go to open the next page I get a message that the thread no longer exists, or something to that effect, so I have to go and find where it was merged. Thanks.

There is a redirect feature, but it would clutter up the board just as bad, which is the reason threads are merged. I understand where you're coming from though.

It's time to start banning some of theses freakin people for making stupid threads and not looking to see if a thread is already talking about what they have to say.I could have made a new thread but I looked around and dug this one up.Come on people, don't start a thread just because something pops in your head and you feel the need to throw it out there without looking to see if another thread relates.

I'm glad I'm not a mod cause we would lose ton's of people if I had the button.
