Not nearly as concerned with #1 as #s 2 & 3.

We are WRU and the WR corp will Rise To The Top!

I just realized that we have some serious problems if other areas are so bad they have overshadowed our terrible kicking game

:)

Yeh. Our Passing game was by far the best part of our game last year. Take out our qb and top 3 wr's and here we are.

for the 80th time he doesn't run the spread!!!!!!!

It's a high tempo pro style

Obviously you didnt read the last part of statement.. I said if he does this...

Also if he runs pro why all the love for running qbs n not pro style qbs? Last year was a type of up tempo type spread... With a pro style qb which is ok but it seems he is recruiting more ath type qb which leans on running qb...

All our quarterbacks and receivers need experience. I don't think these two positions, and tight end will never be a problem under Butch. He turned crap into gold at cincy with Brendan Kaye.

I watched a lot of football, if you want to call it that, last year and if my recollection is correct, we were the most unreliable defensive unit that I can remember to ever run through the T. All things considered, if we play better defense this year, alot of the the offensive problems will magically disappear. No longer will we need to score 50 to beat another team!!!

1) Pass Catchers

2) Pass Defenders

3) Pass Rushers

Checking out 'the bad'

2 and 3 can help each other out. Better pass defense makes for a better pass rush and vice versa. I think moving back to the 4-3 will help a bit, but we are definitely in desperate need of some difference makers in those areas. I do worry about the Qb's and their ability to pick up Butch's system. But I'd say those fears pale in comparison to my concerns on defense. I just want us to stop somebody, anybody, please.

quit it man, you're thinking like an SEC fan. you gotta remember that the high tempo pro style will work just like it did at Cincinnati and it won't need a good QB, everybody runs the ball, and with the 4-3 we'll stop everybody.

HA HA

just kidding friend, those are EXACTLY my concerns too, and I am an SEC fan who's not sure the high tempo pro style is a good fit. but we shall see
