1) Trae Golden has not played like himself. He needs to take over the game and show that he can be an elite point guard.

2) We cannot let Pitt dominate the boards. It's that simple. Kenny Hall, Yemi Makanjoula, and Dwight Miller need to be all over the ball when it's in the air.

3) Stay disciplined on defense. Pitt runs a lot of ball screens, and they are usually very patient on offense. You cannot take risks while guarding them, go under screens lazily or be late on help defense. Also, you have to guard them all 45 ft of their side of the court. They will shoot it. You cannot be lazy with off ball defense, as we have had that problem this year.

This could be a huge game for the season. We are about to enter Armaggedon with our schedule. We need this win.

I expect a committee type guarding with Washpun, Richardson, and McRae. I would like to see Washpun guard Gibbs some.
