Yeah he didn't make it in during the spring because off that damn SEC math class lol.....Meyer and staff figured as much so they allowed McFarland to enroll this summer instead of greyshirting. Doc is getting a player but it's wasted talent up in those hills. Would have been a better fit at WVU at least he would have had some ESPN time...last time we hear that name usless he gets drafted.

Maggit isn't going to leave the state but O'leary and Brissett could land anywhere IMO.

Where is he currently leaning? I just watched his film on Rivals and all I can say is "Wow"! O'Leary is also a beast that we would love to steal from the Big 3 and he plays a huge need postion for our class. I like Brissett alot, but I like Worley better, but I am a little biased because of my friendship with one of his coaches lol.

Most Gator can't believe we may lmiss out on all three of these kids but O'Leary has UGA leading by some accounts and Maggitt will be Shannon's to lose...when it come to Brissett; I'm going with the info I have from a close "source" that if UT gives him the double offer he'll wear the Power T next yr. It will come down to UT, UNC,WVU and ND for his services because of his LOVE for bball. IMO this will be a down yr for UF in the state.

Interesting... heard Maggitt was a huge Gator lean. And I don't think O' Leary is the huge GA lean... I would say favors but not by much. And Brissett is either FSU or UT, and the bball thing pushes UT in the lead I feel as well.

Yeah hard to believe but this is recruiting and if you look at UF's last three classes Dwyer kids play positions that are pretty well stacked....UF isn't USC so kids just don't sit around and wait until they are Sr's to get PT. Meyer has his TE/ATH/DE in AC so look for more OL and LB this cycle. By my count we lose 4-5 OL and 5 LBs(including Beal) this season...at best it's 17/18 schollies this go round.

That's some good news. O'Leary and Brissett are the 2 I want. I'm sure Pearl an Dooley can put the double team on him and get a commitment. I'm sure that's they way they will handle it. O'Leary would make us forget about McClain.

I would love to have O'Leary but I think that would be a long/almost impossible shot. His ties to UGA and Ohio State in addition being from the state of Florida means we are probably 5th or 6th on his list.

Any word on Cortez Davis? Hearing he may visit UT this summer; he's really backed of his commit to Noles.

Yeah Cortez is a flaky commit at best, was the day he switched from Clemson and FSU staff knew it from day one. He told me about a week ago when rumors were going around that he had backed out that he had in fact not backed out. FSU-Clemson battle now and will take all 5 OV's which has always been his plan. This is what Cortez told me when he committed to FSU:
""I've been getting a lot of offers. FSU, Clemson, FIU, Florida, USC, Purdue, Miami, Texas Tech, and Alabama too. I already know my 5 official visits I'm going to take. Clemson, FSU, USC, Florida, and Alabama. I'm not sure when I'm taking them though."

I don't understand how Clemson is recruiting so well. I know Kevin Steele is a magician as a recruiter but, damn. I dont get it. It's in the middle of nowhere and honestly I thought the campus was pretty whack when I went there.

For real. I work with a Clemson fan and all I have been hearing all week we are killing you guys in recruiting Mike Bellamy committed to us, he is going to be the next CJ Spiller blah blah... Then I have to remind him that Clemson got their a$$ beat by USClite last year. :birgits_giggle:

Well although Clemson is in an inferior conference, their fanbase is as rabid about college football as an SEC school. They have good traditions and are a top team in the ACC.

This right here. They think they're an SEC school, and support their team like one....

They have the "best entrance".... "loudest fans"....."best stadium"...."best uniforms"... etc.

Only thing I would say is they're the most delusional fan base (behind Georgia, of course).

Rob Lewis said that the trio were still on campus today. They are gonna try to get an interview with all 3 of them when they leave.

Very interested to hear from Brissett. Hopefully, he talked to Pearl.
