Has anyone ever had this same terrible experience?

My buddy bought us better seats in Athens this weekend. He bought them around 10:00AM at our tailgate. I go to list the ones I have to sell on StubHub and they sell. When I go to my allVols account to transfer them, buttons for selling and transferring are grayed out. It wouldn’t let me do anything. I couldn’t send them any type of way. They wouldn’t airdrop, download as PDF, or anything other than staying on my device. I had to end up canceling those other people’s order and had to pay over $800 for them to get new seats.

I called Ticketmaster and was on the phone with them for 2 hours at the tailgate. I couldn’t get any answers and they said they couldn’t help.

I paid the university for the 4 seats and had to turn around and pay for other people’s seats.

Anyone had anything like this?

I’m calling the UT ticket office today, as I’m still ticked.

I had something like this happen with Predators tickets, using Stubhub. Always use the official online site of the stadium you’re going to for sales as they will back the transaction.

I bought 2 tickets off Stubhub that had not transferred an hour before the game, so I contacted the seller, who 10 minutes before puck drop transferred the tickets. The problem was that the tickets were to a game in Anaheim and not the game in Nashville. The Bridgestone Arena people said they can’t do anything if the transaction wasn’t made with TicketMaster. I then called my credit card company and reported a fraud.

The guy sent me the actual tickets about 15 minutes after the game started, at which point I had already left. I told Stubhub and a collection agency that I had missed part of the game, therefore I missed the game because the transit was too late. The ticket scalper had to eat the costs and they left me alone. I didn’t go to the game after all that drama anyway. I was furious and quite humiliated in front of the girl I had asked to go on the date.

Always use TicketMaster with UT athletics.

This likely will become more of the norm, unfortunately, as entertainment venues try to restrict the secondary market.

I received multiple notices via email that my UGA tickets had to be downloaded to wallets and or transferred by Thursday pm. I'm not sure why this is different than other games but maybe had to do with the way Georgia's system managed the process.

Someone mentioned the deadline to transfer already. If you’re the one that purchased them from UT, you should receive an email the week of the game that lets you know when that deadline is. Sometimes it’s Friday night, but I’ve seen it be Thursday for a couple of games the last season or two.

All away games have had this deadline since everything went digital.
