I got on UTTix.com tonight, just to see what's available for Texas A&M, and Auburn, and I was shocked at what I found. Now given Auburn stinks and its a weeknight, but Texas A&M is a Saturday 6pm game.. there are literally thousands of lower level seats, and lots of 200 level seats for sale, still available. I've never seen this many, ever, especially for a weekend SEC game, no matter who we played. Of course the 300 level seats top 10 rows were all there, but they usually are. Students are back, and I figured attendance now may increase, especially how we've played lately, maybe I'm wrong. But I was shocked to see SO many lower and 200 level seats unsold.

After seeing this, I now firmly believe all student seating needs to be closer to the court, or sidelines. If anything behind both baskets, or every section behind the basket they currently occupy. I really hope our fans show up.

I'm not sure why UT didn't have the black Friday sale this time like they have in the past... I got to take the whole family to two games last year. Seems like a full stadium at less per ticket would be better than an empty one, right?

In spite of the string of 5-7 seasons, I would still consider Tennessee a football school first and foremost.

They did have one. They were selling tickets for 7 dollars with no extra fee. The problem is. Not a lot of people are looking to sit in the 300 level and the 100 level seats don't go on sale until the week of the game or week before I think kind of messes it up. I think.

After watching games this past week, I'm not surprised by this. LSU, A&M, and Bama looked half empty, and I'm sure there are plenty more disappointing numbers. It's just more convenient to watch a game on your Big screen HD TV , then make a trip to TBA.

OP are you sure? I went to the Virginia game and the lower bowl was practically full. Have a hard time believing there are "thousands" of 100 level seats.

Take it off mobile mode so you can view the map, and I'm just shocked there are that many lowers unsold, especially 200 level. I thought all 200 level were donor seats, and sold out before season started. Never have I been able to buy 200s from ticket office. Hopefully there will be a big number of walkup sales and students being back show up in force.

I would think scalpers will be busy tomorrow evening. $30 for 100 level seats behind the goal at UT Tix .. Probably be able to purchase $10 less from scalpers.

Exactly 1985, buyers market for sure! They'll all be selling under face, due to ticket office having lots unsold at face value.

200's being available is surprising.

There's 32 sections in the lower level. 15 of them are sold out completely. For there to be "thousands" of seats left in the lower bowl, there would have to be hundreds available in each section. There's not.

In fact, its not just the Texas A&m game, its every home game remaining, yes Florida too. Plenty lowers and 200s, go buy em up!!!

I totally agree. Students behind the basket blows. Should be right behind the away bench IMO.

It doesn't matter how full TBA is. .. its still going to be quieter than a nursing home at nap time. Our student section is a joke and everyone else sits on their hands

When you play bad basketball with no excitement this is what you get. Glad for the current surge but it is not enough to gather any excitement. Too bad the house would be packed if Bruce was still here. We have so far taken a season so full of hope and turned it into a question mark. I think the fan base has taken on the personality of the coach.

Still top 10 maybe top 5 in the country in attendance by percentage but you got it.

Eat at home, park at the AG campus for free.

If you're in knoxville it's not that much gas.
