Well after snooping around a bit online, it seems as though tickets are going to run at least $80 a pop for Session 1 on Friday (via Stubhub).

UT is selling a pair of tickets for $275 but if Tennessee loses, they aren't any good on Sunday? Or something, they were a little confusing to say the least.

This will be my first go around at the NCAA tourney, anyone have better ticket options or advice for getting tickets? I'm excited about seeing Tennessee play and it's a bonus ETSU is in the other game that session, even if they most likely get blown out in the first 5 minutes.

GO VOLS.

I live in Dayton, have season tickets to UD games and have tickets for all 3 sessions. You are in fact in luck that Ohio State plays in the second session, that will benefit you finding tickets for session 1. With that being said, I have good reason to believe that there will be a lot of scalpers trying to ditch their session 1 tickets, especially Ohio State fans. If you want any other information just ask, as I am very familiar with the area.

The only qualms I have about scalping is that my friend's buddy who we are staying with claims lots of Ohio State fans will be local and will want to go both sessions. We found a set of four tickets for around 50 apiece, can we do better than that on site?

50 a piece is an absolute steal, and I would take that if I were you. Face value of these tickets are $66. I do know that a lot of Dayton fans are going to be selling their tickets for the first session because Dayton plays at 3:00 and they do not want to miss that game.

They seem to be tough to get right now

Your best bet is to wait until pretty close to tip off and try to buy tickets from fans whose teams have lost. Best price you can think of.
