i would prefer lower level b/c upper deck sucks.

i am gonna try to scalp tix but that is risky

Theres several in the TN Eastman co classifieds. I think its a subscription site. I dont think you have to pay to view, only to place adds. My connection told me alot of the people that recieve them through the company have placed them for sale there.
I dont have the link. But if you was wanting to maybe go that route i can get you the info.

I'll be in Z12 at the Vandy game. I also paid $125 a piece for the Florida game, and I got Notre Dame tickets at face when they went on sale to the public. And, of course, I'll be there on a student ticket when the Vols visit UK. I just hope nobody gets hurt in that game.

I've never been to a UT football road game at somewhere other than Lexington, and the 2003 Marshall game is the only UT football game I've been at that did not involve UK, so yeah, I'm excited about this year. :dance2:

Ill be in WW in my weather proofing(Vandy). UT @ UK Nov 26th Brrrr, I think after a long season (home) and possibly a road trip to Buma. Thats one I'll be happy to be inside on the sofa to watch.

Sorry if im that far behind but whats the last word in KY for an OC?
Only injury we took from KY that was a bit more than nasty was a chop block that wound up being ok.
I was really impressed by Byods intro to the NFL, I compare AUB-Bhams QB to him. Huge with a strong arm and can move if need be.

I dont remember his name? But is that freak of nature PTA/FG leaper gone yet?
Remember while in that nasty swamp, at the end they pull a huge plug that makes a Loud toilet flushing sound. :good:

UK fired the OC the week of the UT game last year. Two offensive assistants shared the play-calling duties for that game. One of them, Joker Phillips, who coaches the WRs, is now the OC. He basically secured the job with the extreme success UK had offensively in Knoxville for about 2.5 quarters. As for the kick blocker, you're thinking of Lonnell Dewalt. He was a freshman last year and is now at a junior college in MS. I think the problem was grades, but I can't remember. As for the Swamp, is that the sound of the Vols draining the Swamp?

Yeah i was aware of the 2 OC's used that game. Thats why i was asking if or whom was hired for the job or promoted. "Joker" gotcha thanks.

That had to suck for KY to lose that Dewalt kid, his vertical was amazing. Maybe he'll get what ever it was squared away and back to the SEC?

I use that analogy when the Swamp is drained by the VOLS.. :good:

ok. i need some advice. i can get two tickets in x4 row 20 for $100. or two in m row 16 for about $120

which is a better deal? and which is the better seat?

If it were me, I think I'd take X4. Those seats are in the corner of the endzone vs. section M which is more in the center of the endzone. Down low in the center of the endzone is not where I like to be - serious depth perception problems when the ball is on the other side of the field.

Also, section M is on the same end as the Jumbotron, and you might not be able to see it because of the overhang of the upper deck.

My tickets are in the front of the upper deck near the 50, and I absolutely love them. You are actually closer that the higher seats in the lower deck and your view is unmatched.

And BTW, don't fret about scalping: there are always plenty and the prices are much better than through agents (reference the rapist trying to sell LSU tickets for a grand a pair). I saw Florida tickets last year for $65 on the Strip.

I, too, sit in the upper deck (row 2, on the 50), and I wouldn't wanna be anywhere else in the stadium (except maybe row 1)!

If you're still looking for tickets, don't shy away from the upper deck just because of one fan's opinion. I think it just depends on the view you prefer to watch the game from...and maybe a little on your eyesight too. :geek:

FYI: there are a ton of season tickets on Ebay. Search for "vols season tickets" and you'll get two pages of results. Reasonable prices, too: you can find them for well under a thousand a pair. If you aren't too particular about seats, you can even catch a deal in the $600-$800 range. The 50 will cost you, though.

In all honesty, when you hear of people dropping over $200 per single ticket (see above), those prices seem pretty good. 'Course, I've never paid anywhere close to that from the scalpers on campus.
