Yeah, I don’t fully get putting a game against that size of a school in St. Louis either.

Why would Tennesse play in Nashville.

I mean, yes, but those out-of-conference neutral site games in major cities are generally one Power 5 team versus another Power 5 team, though (Virginia’s an ACC team).

This is a power 5 team playing a smaller team from the American Athletic Conference.

St. Louis has been without NFL for some time. Now yes St. Louis is much closer to Jefferson City than Memphis but it's still only a half day's drive.
