First of all, I like any other rational fan would kill to have Tebow on my team for obvious reasons.

But, some times it seems like to me Tebow almost gloats to the media indirectly. For example, when he said he'd return for his senior season, he went out of his way to point out that it was because he wanted to set a good example for student athletes. What's the point of saying it? It should speak for itself. He also gets WAY too emotional and over dramatic in his press conferences hence the immortal speech after the Ole Miss game. The media makes it a lot worse by worshipping him, though. So they are definitely to blame.

My point is that Tebow would be a lot cooler if he stopped talking (gloating) to the media and just kept his business on the field. I'm tired of seeing his over emotional rants and preaching about Jesus. JMO.

Why does it concern you so much? If you don't want to listen to what he says then just ignore it.

he didnt come back to set a good example for younger student athletes. he came back because the NFL has no place for his type of talents. which consists of being huge and not being an accurate passer, and a cryer.

Tebow and Espn were made for eachother. Unfortunately for opposing fans, it is what it is.

If TT wanted to be cool, he'd lose to our beloved Vols this year....yeah, that would be WAY COOL! ....for him, of course.:dance2:

I think one of his downfalls will be the way he acts so rightous. There is a picture of him with this girl with her showing alot of her tits hanging out. Not very christ like.Last year he clearly thru the ball away avoiding a sack, then complained that he was intending it for a reciever.Lying? And the way he flaunts himself with wearing scripture on his face and Lord knows everybody knows of his mission trips.I think he now belives he is not only bigger than the progam, but that he is the progam. then the fall comes.

I had a Gator friend of mine tell me: "Tebow said he would Sing Rocky Top if he ever loses to Tennessee in his playing career"

Is this True? If So I'd love to see him stand next to Lane while he sings it all night......

If Tebow lost to Tennessee in his last year, which he won't, imagine the speech post-game.

Where is the confidence?

I bet it would go something like.....

"I can't believe we lost to a team like that, and that the rightful team didn't win this game! Eric Berry is one heck of a player, but watching him dance in the endzone like that was classless....Given that, You will never see me push my teammates harder, you will never see a team work harder than we will the rest of the season, and so on....."

Absent after whippings the past two years.

Good Point. But I am confident it will be close this year, I doubt Montes Defense has points racked up on it like Gators fans are claiming. I think they score less than 24....the question is, can we score more than 10 or so to back that up.

i think he will get drafted to the NFL but shouln't be because he is better at running the ball than throwing the ball and will get creamed if he tries to run the ball

I now hope he gets drafted just to watch a succession of linebackers run right through Tebow.

I think some of you just have issues... I hate florida but tebow is just simply a very good person and it shows fans ignorance to downgrade a kid that is proud to be a christian.

i am too but i never taunted anyone or did anything to call attention to myself on the field. he is very prideful and has a large ego. i dont dislike the guy because he is a gator or a winner, but bc of the hipocrisy he shows, and the constant tebow plugs on tv and newspaper. the only reason i would want to see him go to the nfl is to see if he can pass a drug test and not get smaller. im just saying.

I actually agree that its a little much, with the attention.

But, I think the reason he is hyped like he is would be because he seems genuinely to play because he loves it. He just seems to have a purer motive for being so enthusiastic, as opposed to most others.
