Yeah, they waited until the shrub had passed Denny for the lead before they threw the caution.Luckily they through another caution for JJ about 2 laps after he knocked the wall down. That first one was a joke too, that debris was way down on the apron. They've thrown cautions for less before, however.
its smart..but dirty...real dirty, i would have ran his a** off the track...but of course NASCAR is going to throw the yellow for their poster boy..I guarntee if that was Hermie Sadler or something out there they would not have thrown the yellow
Attention all VN nascar fans.......GA IS A CLOSET HENDRICK LOVER.Of course that's what he was doing. I think just about every driver would have done the same as long as they could maintain some semblance of speed without fear of putting it into the wall and tearing things up.
I thought that for awhile, but the more you think about it, it makes sense to break'em out at Bristol and Martinsville where the downforce plays virtually no role in the cars. This way they can at least get'em on the track and work out the kinks.I'm not sure anybody will really know much until they get it out on a super speedway in race conditions. Bristol seems to me like an odd place to introduce new technology.
