If these clowns in DC are successful in jamming cap/trade and universal health care on us, will this be enough to finally get some of you GOP sheep to realize that the current group od incumbents need to be thrown out? Is it now time to finally throw out the bums and start over with a new set of leaders on the conservative side? Or are you guys just going to maintain the status quo and blindly support the party again?

Just voting in conservatives because of what democrats are doing would be maintaining the status quo as well. There are other options out there besides those two parties.

don't confuse conservatives with republicans. I know the media would have you think that they're the same, but they're not.

that's the problem, we've had too many "republicans" and not enough conservatives.

A conservative in the current Republican party is a rare species indeed!

It's curious that even liberals pretend towards the conservative side during campaigning. The Statist's takeover has to be ever so slow and subtle, lest they awake the sheeple... :zeitung_lesen:

I've been voting "anti-incumbent" for some time now. Hasn't done much good so far. Maybe some day more of y'all will join me, then we can kick them all to the curb and try a new batch... :shades:

Ya conservative hardly means Republican anymore.

And ya I really wanted to do a campaign slogan last year (bumper stickers, T-Shirts, et al.) that just read "Other Guy '08" cause really, they ALL really need to be thrown out. I know there are some conservative Repubs in congress, but they frankly did not have the balls to at least stand up and scream at the idiocy that has been spewing out of their own party in Washington for the last 13 years.

I voted for the Democrat against Alexander, and I hope to God we get a primary against Corker. If not, I'll be voting for the democrat against him, or at least the libertarian. Sadly I'm in Bart Gordon's district and no one runs against him, so all I can do is write in "Bart's A. Douchebag"
