He's just had a string of bad luck this year. Sometimes, it's just not your year. I expect he will come back strong next season.

Don't totally count the #24 team just yet. Wait until we're at least 4 races deep into the Chase and see where Jeff stands. I'm not saying he'll win it all but he'll be competitive. However, I do think the following have the best chance to win it: Jimmie, Tony, Denny, Brad, Matt.

And don't forget about Talladega. It is the wildcard. Everything could change after that race's results.

Truth. I wish they would put a road course in the chase too. That would really shake things up. I know the drivers hate having Dega in the chase because it is such a wildcard but it makes for more intresting tv.

I like having Dega, because it includes so many different strategies from all the teams. It is the race where you have to have some luck. I've seen good drivers like Gordon, Johnson, Kenseth, and others drop to the back while guys like Jr, and the Busch brothers try to stay up front.

Yeah different drivers and teams have different strategies at different times. I have seem some races where Jr will race up front as long as his car would allow it. Other times he would fall to the back. Fun race to watch and through in the added element of the chase and it makes for so good racing and good tv.

I like the idea of a road course in the Chase too. There should be at least one race in the Chase on every type track. Swap one of the 1.5 mile tracks in the Chase with one of the road course races.

Too many 1.5 mile tracks on the circuit to begin with why not switch one out in the Chase and through something different at the drivers.

Absolutely. The chase wouldn't be near as fun without a restrictor plate race. I like watching all the teams strategize. The chevy teams were dominant so long, but this year Roush has closed the gap on those guys. It makes it that much more competitive.
