I get being upset but it is time to move on to the next chapter. Still 9 games and a lot can still happen. Our fan base shouldn't be this quick to turn on Heupel. Negativity will not help anything. Hopefully we get Mays and Mincey back along with Slaughter. Maybe we will see Nico this week too. Let's stop the fire and pitchforks folks. Obviously Heupel is and was upset with what we looked like and how we played. Maybe some changes will be made. Grab a beer and relax

I know while I’m writing this that I’m going to catch a lot of things from volnation. There’s nothing we can do about last Saturday’s game against the gators. Let’s just move on to the next game. We’ve got 9 more games to play. I love our volunteers as much as anyone else does. Let’s trust our coaches that they will fix everything. We all was praising them last year now three games in we are ready to call it a last season. Yes if things aren’t fixed it’s going to be ugly. Please lets get behind this team and pull them out of this funk right now. Everyone is untitled to their opinion this is just mine. Thanks for the time.

I am sick of people telling me to relax. I know you mean well; bur I have the right to be angry and upset. Nearly half of the years in my life now have been spent trying to get over loses to Florida, often to inferior teams. I am sick of it. It matters to me

I agree it’s time to move on. I know that CJH is the right guy and unfortunately he thinks Milton is his only option, maybe it is.

Tip: there is nothing you can do about next Saturday’s game either.

Or any other one.

When the Vols give us something good to talk about, then we’ll talk about it.

Saturday still stings. It might be awhile.

Not gonna happen. We as a collective have a vast memory bank of TN games. We still discuss LSU 2001. Or Memphis in 1996. This game will be talked about until the season is over and long after that regardless of what Heupel does from here on out.

I am pretty positive dude, but that offense is terrible right now. No leadership, no discipline, no dogs, no points. It's that easy. The crime in the last two weeks has been poor execution and predictablity. In fact, it has been has any point under the previous three coaches. They are going to do it again against USTA too.

I moved on Sunday morning. 30 years ago I used to get so upset especially after FLA that I wouldn’t talk to anyone for a week and be sore the entire season. It just wasn’t worth getting that upset over something I really can’t control. I watch every game and I hurt or I get excited, but I move on quickly. My son and I went to the Titans game yesterday and I went to my job I enjoy today. My Braves are screwing up again so I pulled up some Volnation. Don’t let it ruin your life.

I’m personally getting over the loss slowly. It will fade as others in the past. Like I mentioned in another thread, all of this falls on Heups shoulders. He is the General, the CEO of this football team. It’s his place to make changes, and build moral and build confidence and get the best out of what he has. I have a feeling we will see some Nico. There was a reason he wasn’t redshirting and no , I don’t believe it’s because he was not staying here for 4 years. We can assume what is going through a kids head, but if Heup was set on Joe then Nico would redshirt. Bryce Young Redshirted, idc what anyone says, Nico will get his opportunity based on Milton’s past. Hopefully, we get past this Fl lost this week , move on and hope some changes are made. Without a doubt tho, Hadden has been a liability, time to move on from him and get work in by others , game experience is the best experience to learn from.

Braves lock up a playoff spot and start a losing streak. IDK what's going on with that.

I hear you loud and clear and sincerely hope that the team takes your advice to heart.

In the meantime, I would prefer to come to a message board where I have been a member for 18 years and discuss the topics of my choice. Right now that includes where our Vols are, were, and want be.

As long as new pieces of information keep coming out we will collectively keep working on the jigsaw puzzle of why and how until the where is fixed. Sorry I’m not sorry.

Big Al has it wrong. You don’t need a beer. You need a handle of shine and fist full of sedatives.

Again… Our Fanbase isn’t turning on Heupel. People vent frustration and question certain things. Specifically… Why Milton continues to play when he’s never been good. But that’s not turning on him.

I will turn the page when UT scored 49 points on UTSA and whips USC in two weeks. Then I will let this go as just a bad night for a good team.

TBH, I am not sure the Vols will get it together this season. That was pretty bad in a lot of ways.

I hope I am wrong about that.

This is just a realistic outlook, well said. As inexcusable as last Saturday was, if they roll up UTSA and hand USCjr the payback ass whoopin they own them, then yes chalk up UF as just a horribly crappy night.

If they are sleep walking this Saturday and squeak by, people will be getting unbelievably restless (and should). If UTSA pulls the upset in Knoxville things will get very ugly. Just handle biz this week and get ready to shift all focus on what is now shaping up to be the probable critical junction in determining what path UT football will be on the remainder of the year, the USCjr game...

Nearly half? How do you think I feel? I’m 33 and can count on one hand the amount of times I vividly remember beating Florida. I can count on one finger the amount of times I vividly remember beating Bama (hint: 2022).

Not being able to move on won’t help the team next week. Sure you hate it but you go back to work on the problems and try not make them again. As fans sure it’s a downer but you get over it and move on there is always a chance to improve the next week. Teams never stay the same you either get better or worse. Tennessee can turn it around, but it will take work and focus. As a true fan all you can do is get behind them and hope they turn it around. Or go sulk and gripe or nit watch. It’s your choice. GBO
