Tiny Lund's Widow Found Dead.

Sad news, Wanda Lund-Early, the widow of past NASCAR driver Tiny Lund, was found shot to death in her Waynesville, NC home. Tiny Lund won the 1963 Daytona 500 as a replacement driver for Marvin Panch, driver of the #21 Wood Brothers Ford. Lund helped pull Panch from a wrecked Maserati that ended upside down on fire while attempting a land speed record. His and Wanda's emotional interview in victory lane was televised on Wide World of Sports. It was a story you would call unlikely if done by Hollywood.
