Exactly what I feared seems to be happening, and I'm sick of it already. I know it's a little conceited to think that voicing my opinion here will make any difference at all, but I wish that those second guessing our coaches' decision to go with Ainge would pick a new team to root for. It's friggin' ridiculous. Fulmer et. al. get paid the big bucks to do their jobs, and they do them damn well, last I checked the record books. I remember another "QB controversy" a few years back, when many people thought that Stewart was the way to go. Last season, the "OTHER guy" just so happened to break the NFL's "unbreakable record."

I just listened to some old fart call up 99.1 and state his displeasure with the choice. Blah, blah, blah. How about, instead, let's all get behind these kids and show our support? How about not complaining about the early start time on Saturday? How about hitting the road for Gainesville or Baton Rouge? How about standing up and yelling when the bad guys have 3rd and 2? Or 1st and 10? Get loud. Go crazy. Sneak in some bourbon. Take off the headphones. Take off your shirt in the rain.

DANGIT. . . . IT'S FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE!!!!!

nobody could have said it any better i dont think. these guys are the University of Tennessee Volunteers and the school is a winning tradition and EVERYBODY else is the bad guy. i may not be able to contain myself between now and 12:30 on saturday and when that time finally does come people may think i'm some sort of psycho with all the screaming at the tv when we score td's and light them up on defense.

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :dance2: :dance2: :dance2: :dance2: :dance2:

I am concerned about you.

Have you taken your blood pressure lately?

These rants can't be healthy. Although it probably got your heart rate up a bit. They say you should get it up at least once a day.

Mine usually rises when I make a trip to the refrigerator. :D
