you know what...he could have handed off to griffin and i think that they still could have gotten the first down from what i saw; griffin had beaten everyone on the other side before anyone noticed the punter had the ball.

yeah, he's still recovering from the hammy injury. Finally practicing before the game, but not at the point of ready to play yet.

Good thing is we have an extra preseason game, so he should see more field time than a player normally does if they get hurt like that in preseason
