I do think they will get another coach that has a loaded roster and now they can go out and get a good qb. But the way they handled this is bizzare. You mean they didn't know they had these big of differences 3 weeks ago? So this next yr is a wash unless Cower or Chucky comes back. AND I GUARANTEE FISHER ENDS UP IN DALLAS IN 2 YRS!!!

I think they should have done it sooner. I wasn't thrilled with having a lame duck head coach next year. Best for both parties in my opinion.

Who cares. Then or now makes no difference. Fished got ****-canned for insubordination. They were trying to limp through the year with him because of several factors. He made that impossible.

I doubt he'll end up in Dallas because Jason Garrett may turn out to be a decent coach, plus I doubt Fisher will want to get into another situation with a meddling owner like he just left. In fact Jerry Jones is probably even worse than Bud Adams.

The Titans have made so many mistakes this offseason it's almost laughable. They got the VY thing right, but then turned around and totally f'ed everything up by letting Fisher get away. He's one of the best coaches in the NFL, and will have work at the drop of a hat next year if he so desires. Also, now they're talking about squandering their draft pick by not taking a QB, which would likely mean a trade for somebody who's not that great like Kolb. I don't understand how they make these decisions, but they seem to get things wrong a lot more than they get them right.

Kolb's not getting traded; the Eagles are asking for alot for him....more than anyone here (or most teams) would like to give

sorry that's aside from the thread topic

it looks like the post is mainly about he's upset with the poor timing of the move

that if they were going this way, they should have done it 2 or 3 weeks ago when there were still more coaches on the market

What does he mean about a loaded roster??

I had just taken the whole statement as just a write off at the beginning in a sense like "I think we'll get a good coach and be fine" or "while I do agree with the moving on, I disagree" kind of thing

I realize now reading it though that there's some semantic issues with it

Don't really know why, but I think Garret does good things at Dallas and Jones won't be looking for a coach in 2 years.

For the reason they are getting rid of VY, they screwed that. If you can an employee for insubordination, you should do it immediately - not a month or so after the event.

I think canning Fisher was a good move but should have been done at the end of the season.

This draft is not a good QB draft, so skipping on a QB this year is not a bad move in my opinion. This team is more than just a QB away.

Bud is basically a lazy owner. He hardly comes to Nashville. He really wants to have a team that makes him loads of money and give off the illusion that he wants to win. Jeff was his perfect coach for that. Now moving forward we will see how this works out.

I hear you, but with as high as a pick as the Titans have, Philly might let him go for that if everything with the CBA gets worked out before the draft. JMO though.

no, the initial reports have had them wanting anywhere from a 1st and a 2nd/3rd to 2 1st's.

unfortunately too, it's not working out before the draft

yeah...im a munch fan already. i think this guy knows exsactly what he is doing...and he is getting guys that are good and loyal to the franchise... lets just see who he chooses for OC. i hope he is more of a pocket qb kind of guy bc i cant stand the black mobile QB crap anymore. they get hurt to much...

give me a peyton or rogers back there in the pocket and pick apart a D.

This isnt going to end well for the Titans. With a "Lame Duck" coach and the pending lockout, its gonna be tough for Bud to put a good staff together. Just IMO

Carson Palmer?

if the Bungles would trade him....

The most stubborn GM/owner in the league has already said no, it's not going to happen.

Same guy who put his foot down and turned down 2 1st round picks for Ochocinco back when his contract was almost up earlier
