...if Butch has built a wall.

Acc to 247 Composite 2018, Vols have 1 5* and 1 4*committed. There are 10 4*.

2017 TN: 3 5* and 6 4*. Butch got only 1 5* and only 2 4*.

Right now for 2018, only 1 4* has committed elsewhere and most of the other 9 are projected for the Vols.

Butch knows he must get a Top 10 class in 2018. Doesn't have to go far to do it if he's done his job.

I think part of the current criticism of Butch is the fact that 2017 was THE year to load up in state. We just did average.

That goes along with 2016 being THE season where the talent peaked for a title, yet we just did "average" t 9-4.

I hope the projections are right, and we load up in 18'. The SEC demands it.

average? He gets a D

minus.

I'm actually glad someone is discussing it. After all this is a free recruiting forum...

based on what very little info is out there, I HOPE '18 shapes up nicely in state. But, Butch needs to shut a couple of the recruitments down early, last year I felt like we had a couple of kids we may have slow played, that ended up being big time recruits?

I put a question mark next to it bc it is conjecture.

Okay decide now. Are you going to criticize the coaches for slow playing kids or are you going to criticize coaches for taking kids early who aren't five stars? You can't have it both ways. So pick now.

I understand some people live to second guess and criticize. But I sure get tired of it.
