Dunno. Don't watch polls. I'll defer to you on this one and rephrase. Doesn't matter unless we beat UGA first. Their hoops fans aren't as bad as football by a long shot, but I still can't stand a loss to the dawgs in anything.Win or loss against UGA won’t impact our ranking since new polls won’t be out until after the TX game, right ? Or am I missing something?
If so, what rank will TX be when we play them?

Considering the fact that the Vols beat Gonzaga and Kansas, they should most certainly be ranked higher. Of course, we saw how that worked out with football polls, but they should be higher, IMOAlthough Texas (#7) lost this week, so did UCLA (#5), Gonzaga (#6), Xavier (#8), and Kansas (#2) lost twice. So, hopefully the Vols (#9) will move up to ~4-6. UVa (#10) and Zona (#11) could be moving up with solid wins, but Texas could still be in the top 10.

Having bama look so good and be ranked ahead of us irks the hell outta me. Guess it's better than seeing UGA up that high, but still, with UK being down but rising, I'd rather UT be the top ranked hoop program.Polls release every Monday. So, the Georgia result won’t affect our ranking before Texas.
With that being said, I suspect we’ll move up to #5. Alabama, Houston, and Purdue will be your Top 3. We could theoretically jump all the way to 4 if another team doesn’t leapfrog us, but I have a feeling since we beat two bad teams (even though on the road) Arizona will leapfrog us due to the UCLA win.
I think it will be something like…
1. Purdue
2. Houston
3. Alabama
4. Arizona
5. Tennessee
