No 247 or Rivals yet, I’ll update when there is one.

6’6 230lb DE from Briarcrest in Memphis, VQ said it’s a player Tennessee is evaluating at the moment and could earn an offer down the road, similar to Mackey at Whitehaven. Only his first year of organized football, he was a basketball player for Briarcrest the past 3 seasons.

Project if taken by UT. Would have to be willing to put on the weight to play DT IMO.

5 offers today, one from Ark St and the rest were the FCS in state schools but it looks like his name is getting out there. Wonder which P5 will be the first to pull the trigger

If you tag Ryan Callahan under one of this kids offer tweets, he usually throws a profile up for him pretty quickly. I tagged him for Mackey and he put it up within the hour. Done it for a number of ‘cruits I’ve tagged him.

Finished the season (11 games) with 74 tackles, 14 sacks, 24 QB hurries, 10 TFL, and 2 forced fumbles.

Crawford’s enthusiasm for his final year of high school has been infectious. He’s the type of player who will run the length of the field to celebrate a teammate’s touchdown; a bundle of live-wire positivity wrapped up in an extra-large sized package. “He just has an instinctive hustle to the football,” Stewart said. “He’s just always around it; he’s running full-speed, full-tilt to find a way to go make a play somewhere. It’s crazy . . . (and) I can’t even put into words what kind of kid he is."
Briarcrest player thankful for chance to continue

Definitely the attitude you want. If he has talent and can be taught, he'll go far.
