He does come of the ball very quickly and he has a pretty nasty swim move. He's going to be what Kmac was supposed to be. LOL at VN talent evaluators. Nick Saban calls this guy personally 3 times a week. He could pick up the phone and call any school in the country and commit instantly. I watched both games he's played thus far this year and he has been a force in the middle that the teams are clearly scheming to avoid. They can't block him. He's a little out of shape right now, but dude is ridiculously explosive and athletic for his size. He's ranked number 1 for a reason.
Hate to say it but this feels like another classic case where that kid commits to or has UT at the top the entire process then decides to go to Bama/UGA on signing day because we just don’t put results on the field and go like 6-6 or worse. Any big school could match our NIL deal and have wins.
It’s like their Maryville fanaticism renders their observations completely partisan and useless. They probably had trouble paying attention to the game over the sound of their letterman jackets whispering in their ears. “Back in your day, these kids wouldn’t of stood a chance. Hell, you could take em right now. Remember when you tackled Gerald Riggs in the backfield?”AP said he was "super impressed" by Nolen last night on Outkick360. Hubbs said "Maryville has success running the ball last night because they ran wide and tried to run away from Nolen" and "when they ran at him, it wasn't very pretty". Added that Nolen was disruptive.
Strange how their takes are so much different from the guy who claimed Nolen wouldn't even play if he was at Maryville.
They will never produce consistent talent the way the program is ran.I wish Maryville did produce talent like Nolen.. it would help UT a ton
