'22 TN DT Walter Nolen (Ole Miss)

I believe it will be Vols also but he kinda lite up when he was talking about his A&M visit. He seemed to really like them. Hope it’s Vols!

He’s not going to come out and say how bad his visit was.

Numerous players have greats visits at other schools then end up going elsewhere.

I thought he wanted to take his visits and announce at AA game.

Not that I would object to him screwing ESPN out of a drama opportunity. Not at all.

One game does not determine anything. Dude is out of shape. He won't be in a couple of weeks. The talent is there which is why he's so heavily recruited and projected as a first round talent.

Sure it Bass. I mean SamRebel is one of the de facto experts and he thinks Nolen is overrated. So that must mean he is 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I'm trying to imagine a scenario in which I enter the season out of shape if I'm the #1 DT recruit in the country. If I want to be a first rounder, I need to eat, sleep, and breath football and treat it like a job. It is just very odd to me that we're not allowed to call that a red flag.
He is a fricking kid .. come on... you had it all figured out at 17 im sure .. give me a break .. these non UT fans need to get off here trying to make the kid or his family think you are TN fans .. the kid is a fantastic talent . We need him bad !!!

So this isn’t going to be televised on ESPN or anywhere except maybe his Instagram? You’d think the #1 DT in the nation committing would be big news.

If the goal is to be a first rounder, what better way to show you're serious about it than by showing up overweight and out of shape. I was 17 and was nowhere near good enough with the measurables required to play D1 ball, so what I would've done in that situation is pretty irrelevant. The question is, does Nolen do all the things that the 17% of 5* recruits do to become a first rounder? I'm betting they don't show up on a make or break year overweight and unable to play 4 consecutive plays without laying down in the field of play.

Who is Hayes Fawcett?

Notorious in HS football Twitter for years. Makes super cookie cutter commit edits for players on his phone, but became THE guy to get those edits from. All the top players were asking him. He became so integrated in the recruiting world LSU offered him a spot on the recruiting staff when he graduated HS (he’s from Louisiana). He ended up not doing that but is now on staff at On3. Bad designer, but very nice kid.

Dude has had two different top threes already, and December is 3 months away. Not really gonna feel any different about it even if he does commit. We are already the leader, regardless of all the Nancies out there afraid to say that out loud.
