Why don't you go away?

God's going to get you for that Chong....

Just wait, tommorrow, like it or not it's going to rain. And not just any rain. It's going to be gray and drizzle and drizzle and drizzle until you scream for it to actually rain

That'll teach you

WHAT'S THAT YOU SAID????? :aggressive:

I was asking vol2345 how it being women's basketball has anything to do with the score.

Read his statement.

What did it sound like I said?

Please accept my most humble apology...I was pissed and quoted the wrong post....

I meant to repeat your question to Chong, not you...

Explain yourself Chong.

Chong- I lived in Eugene for 3 1/2 years and (gag) Salem for 1, so don't try to fool either me or the gods

It doesn't rain in Oregon, it either mists real heavy on you or drizzles. Occaisionally, it sprinkles on you like an over-excited toy poodle.

And now, thanks to you, there will be nothing but excited toy poodles tommorrow.

HA!!!!!!!!!

Well, everyone knows the lady vols get all the top recruits in the country. candance parker is in a league of her own, so to lose by 22, damn you got to try on that one....

euguene is so far away...

guess you havent been paying attention ask milo, we broke the record this year for most consecuitive days of rain in oregon, we were running on 33 i think before we actually had a clear day... it has been really bad this year. ask anyone...

A month straight of rain? That's happened every year I've lived here.

It's alright though. It keeps everything green.

So, basically, the gods are finally trying to wash the Californicators out...

Cool

Of course, now, maybe, tommorrow they'll aim for you too

I guess now you've finally got no excuses not to hold onto your new girlfriend real tight in case you get washed away.... HA! got you again!!!

No doubt, Candace is the real deal. She even handled Dearstone's comments about Zolman with class.

Totally agree we got outplayed. I will never say a Summitt team tries to lose, though. Gimme a break.

Yep, we do well at recruiting. We DON'T get them all though. Currie's at Duke. Latta is at NC. Smellaurasi was at UConn, etc. etc.

But you failed to explain your post.

:yuck: and :yuck: again on the "haha" business

what i meant for ladies basketball is its hard for ut to lose by 22 in ladies basketball, sorry for the misuderstanding.... I just feel that for us to lose by 22 you really have to be trying to lose, but like i said i was jk...

Lady Vols got HAMMERED tonight. I think Pat saw this coming. She hinted about it after the Vandy game. Something like maybe a loss to Duke will wake them up and make them want to play defense.

Duke looked sharp tonight. Everything was working for them. Our post players are going to have to step up and Zolman is going to have to get her head out of her butt.

On a neutral court, it's a closer game.

If they want to know how to play Defense all they need to do is reveiw tonigt's game and take note's from Duke.

I agree...I predict a win on a neutral court....IE last year LSU got us in Baton Rouge....we got them in the SEC Tourney

It sure would be alot closer. I tell you what, Duke fans are serious about their B-Ball. They were on their feet the entire game. Its no wonder we couldn't shoot anything.

Anyone see when we were passing the ball back in bounds right infront of the student section. Every single hand was pointing directly toward her in the entire stadium.... I would go nuts.

One word fits the way the Lady Vols played-pitiful. :bad: That was some a** whooping the Lady Blue Devils put on the Lady Vols last night. Pat told them at one time during a time out that they'd better start playing better defense or they'd be embarrassed. They sure did get embarrassed. :bad: This must be their "wake up" call. If they plan on making it to the WNCAA Final 4, they better get their act together and play some tough defense. Bet Pat puts them through some tough work outs after last night (if they have some time between games). I didn't expect them to go undefeated. They've played better ball losing to UConn.
I know they'll rebound and I expect to see them going to the WNCAA tourney with approximately 28 wins and 2 losses.

This loss still stinks...I can only imagine how Summitt and the lady Vols feel....we might be in the top 10 in defense once it's all said and done

The Lady Vols went undefeated in 1998. 39-0

Trivia note...The 1956-57 UNC Tarheels mens team coached by Frank McQuire went 32-0 and won the National Championship. Beat Kansas and Wilt Chamberlain in the final 56-55 in triple overtime. God, that was a long time ago. I watched the game at a neighbor's house on a 17" black and white tv which was state of the art for the time. We couldn't afford a tv. Another trivia note...every starter on the team was from New York City.

Ditto to all you said...but is that enough to run the table?

Somebody here predicted 28-2...curious as to who the other loss you think will be to?
