I thought one of the critiques of Patterson was that he was extremely talented but needed work with his fundamentals, like route running. He is exciting to watch though and one of my favorite players.

I would assume he made it on his fundamentals in the the return game which are basically get up the field....FAST!

Another example of "great" athletes at their positions. When we start filling our roster with high level talent (which is happening now)..we will see the results on the field. Recruit recruit recruit!!!! Go Vols!

Fundamentally sound teams win football games. :yes:

Usually not.... if they are out athleted by their opponent. On occasion yes...but most outcomes are dictated by big time players amazing big time plays. Of course fundamentals "are" important...but most games are determined by athletes. This is true in most all sports!
