I really think UT is over the hump both in schedule and with their "identity" problem that keeps creeping up.
Schedule
The toughest opponent left ont he schedule is ND. However, Notre Dame has given up copius points this year and landed their defense deep in ranks of Division I. Tennessee's D is top 10 nationally and they have given up few points...only 1 TD all year...the rest field goals. An pvious point, but ND is the only challenge left on the schedule
Identity
Tennessee has had since the beginning of the season, an offensive line that dreams are made of. However, for whatever reason, the coaches were disillusioned into thinking they were USC and could wing the ball all over the field with a highly touted, yet underachieving WR corp and QB of limited capability. This has been their undoing so far this season and cost them every game they have lost so far. They have had to change the line around to accomodate more of a spread offense look. That changed in the Bama game. If not for 2 fumbles, UT beats Bama 17-3 and that would be considered a rout given the way both D's played. Ut now knows that when they are in a power I formation, they can run on anyone in the country. Having said that, UT is going Trick-or-Treating at home on SC this Saturday dressed up as the '95 Nebraska team where although you know they're going to run, there is nothing you can do but line up and take it like the smallest guy in prison.
Bottom Line: Relax...UT will not lose another game this year :bottom:
