Because sometimes they aren’t getting committable offers from D1 schools. Sometimes smaller schools can land a guy who gets pushed out of the school he wants to attend due to numbers. Sometimes kids would rather play for a smaller school closer to home. Sometimes they figure if they don’t land them, they might be at the top of the list of the kid hits the transfer portal.Why do schools like EKU offer kids who are getting major D1 offers?
