The announcers before the UF-UK game were talking like it was a very real possibility.

This season SUCKS!!!

Open up to a closer-than-expected UAB game, skip a week, LOSE to the Taliban and now possibly missing ANOTHER week of football because Mother Nature has a bad case of PMS.

:bad:

Weather Channel is reporting 10 inches of rain in the last 30 hours in Baton Rouge. Hopefully though, it's about over.

The rain from Rita was definitely VERY heavy but that appears to be all behind us now. For a lot of the afternoon here in BR, we have had sunshine.

It looks like the storm should be settling acoss northern Louisiana, Arkansas, Tenn., and Miss tomorrow.

That article just looks like an over-reaction based on bad information.

Yeah, but the winds are still pretty healthy. I expect the field'd be playable by tomorrow, let alone Monday.

I don't care if we play or not...would prefer that we did, but I don't want to play in a monsoon.

At this point, I'm tired of even thinking about it. I'm still pissed that I got no etouffee (sp?) this weekend.

Any good cajun joints in K-town?

way to overreact. The weather is fine right now. It wasn't bad to begin with. There was a storm in BR last friday that was worse than anything I saw with Rita, as far as rain is concerned. The wind was pretty cool to watch, and the most damage I saw as I drove through BR this morning was 2 downed power lines.

Well, it's better to err on the side of caution than to take a chance that could get somebody killed.
