interesting. two way player. didn't watch the whole video, but saw him at WR, RB, DB, DE, OLB. not real fast.....as an offensive player.

pretty good ball skills, can go get the ball.

physical player....wouldn't even hazard a guess as to what he projects at in college. i'd lean defense? looks like he has a long wingspan, seemed like a pretty sure tackler....i'd guess pass rusher if i had to.

Plays at the same school as Corbett Mims I think. I don’t know how good Kirby Hs is but I Love how the staff is building relationships in Memphis.

Is he a take or are we just helping get his name out there and building a relationship with that HS?

I don't know if you guys saw his mid-year highlights for this year but it looks like one of the best CB/LB films I've seen. He reads well, reacts quick, covers well, can jump, tackles well and looks fast.

The link is on his Twitter account. I can't get it here but if someone can, go ahead and link it in his profile up top. Looks really really good.

Edit: Here's the link to his Twitter. The highlight video is the pinned Tweet. TaMarious (@marious_ta) | Twitter

Historically Kirby has never been any good. Over the past couple of years, they have had decent teams. Kirby is located in SE Memphis and the athletic teams have benefited from population shifts over the past 15 years.

The VR2 guys on the RTI Recruiting Podcast have mentioned him before, like a month ago I think. They think UT could get involved, especially if they have the room to take another defender like him.

Dont know about this kid, personally. It's nuts how end of the world Memphis is.

it's crazy how many really good players come out of there. may not be rhodes scholars (maybe they are), but damn they can play.

id just like to add that E TN football is currently fresh out of Rhodes Scholars as well.

Maybe he would project as a big, physical Star safety. One of the hybrid safety/LB positions. Especially if he has some speed.

yeah, i think he's definitley a defensive prospect. he's not fast enough to stay on offense.

i still think he has a frame that could add some weight and be a DE/OLB. has a great wingspan, would be a good tackler.

or they keep him about where he is and like you said, make him a nickel guy that can play in the box against the run, rush the passer or cover intermediate stuff.
