I live in Ohio :banghead2: and follow OSU recruiting when not focusing on UT's and of course here how great they are from everyone......its seems though we are in a similar position as OSU has thrived in over the last couple of recruiting years. Even when they miss on huge prospects the state is deep enough with sufficient talent (3-4 stars) that they fill needs and team depth with recruiting.

I feel like we are seeing more D-1 talent than normal in TN this year, maybe not the cream of the crop guys but really good fundamentally sound prospect that could fill out our '11 class and really be impactful.

What do you all think and which prospects do you see ultimately signing with UT and being an under the radar prospect?

It does seem to be a deeper than normal Tennessee class. Hopefully Kerbyson, Richardson and Clear sign with UT, we have a very good chance with them it seems.

I'm not calling these guys locks at all....but I think it would be a major upset to lose any of them...based on the level of onterest they have expressed in UT thus far...

If Dooley can't keep highly rated prospects at a position of need in state then it wouldn't bode well for him at all...

But I personally believe that he will win the battle with all three of these guys...and putting these three with Posey, Luatua and one more (Harris/Thurman/Kelly) would make this one of the best OL hauls we've had in recent memory

disagree. i live in ohio and there are alot more prospects in this state probably double to tennessee. also ohio seems to keep the stars in state. tennessee does not.

Dooley will use Georgia to fill needs not Tennessee.

We have 2 unranked committments and people on this site seem to feel that is OK. I think we are in really bad shape. When was the last time we had 2 unranked recruits after the O&W game. Never?? Why would a top recruit want to come to play for this coach with no history. The sky is truly falling for Tennessee football. Thank goodness we were able to get a basketball coach with history. Hamilton is +1, 0, and -2 in head coach recruiting. He owes Bruce everything. Fulmer will replace him in 2 years.

I realize the state of OHIO has more HS talent....my point was when OSU strikes out on national targets or Penn State or Michigan steal in-state guys (which happens on a regular basis) they have a larger talent pool of in-state guys to fall back on that are still of notable talent levels....UT has not had that luxury in the past but it seems this year it will certainly be a greater factor in recruiting as we fill out the class.

By far the worst post I have seen from a Vol fan on either here, Volquest, or Scout. We have by far the dumbest fanbase in college sports.

I have never seen so many people living in Lala Land. Bet you will be the ones doing the most whining after this season is over. It is amazing how people support destruction and say it is not so bad.

Its amazing how dumb you are. People that have never followed recruiting before in their lives and then decide to start doing so this early in the process are clueless most of the time. It is a long process, dude! We are not Texas, where we have a full class by May every year. We have to recruit nationally because our state doesn't produce enough talent, so it takes longer to build relationships with these prospects that leave home to become a Vol. And btw, Rivals hasn't even done their rankings yet, but Jamie Newberg of Rivals has already said that Harris is probably going to be a low 4 star and Posey is at worst a high 3 star, possible 4 star. So just stop, dude...
