This is an average of the 3 games that each team has played thus far in the NCAA Tourney.

Michigan St.

TOPG: 13.3 (Turnovers Per Game)
PFPG: 20.3 (Personal Fouls Per Game)

This is going to be an amazing game just like the OSU game was... I just hope we continue to play aggressively, win on the boards, and have the higher score when the buzzer sounds at the end of the game.

I didn't realize that we were so close to them on rebounding in the tournament. That comforts me a bit.

Raw numbers distort things a bit since pace matters (thanks Wiscon... er UNI).

Rebound margin for the tournament UT +23, MSU +30
Margin per game UT +7.7/pg MSU +10/pg

The Buckeyes barely challenged the glass (surprised the numbers were as high as they were.) If you drop that game because of defensive boards so easy I could get a couple, UT is +5/pg in the first 2 games.

Any game where I could have gotten a couple defensive boards as a short, slow, uncoordinated, old guy with a 1/2" vertical leap may skew the statistics a bit.
