TN's Walk-Off HR - My view from the stands

My view from the stands. I think my "Oh My God" reaction was appropriate. LOL. Ya'll post your pics and vids from the game!! Would love to see them. What a day to be a TN VOL!!!

Just happened to be sitting next to Drew's mom and little sister at the game which added to the excitement - unbelievable atmosphere. His dad called when he got hit by pitch and said he was watching on tv and that he would be coming back to bat :)
Even watching numerous replays - they can't do justice to the energy and excitement in the stadium. It was insanely electric - something very very rare. Everyone was running wild on adrenalin. It was crazy.

Yep, I agree, the replays don’t do it justice, it was loud and it was shaking under my feet.

wow that must have been awesome being near them. I can’t imagine how they felt. I couldn’t sleep. Adrenaline was still going strong hours after the game. Let’s bring that energy back to LNS tonight !

Just the freeze frame at the beginning with the pink clouds is awesome, and it only gets better from there.

Wish I could have been there. Even at the bar we were at, it exploded when Drew racked that sh*t. Guy bought a round of tequila for the whole bar, band played rocky top, it was lit. Nothing replaces being in those stands tho

I can’t believe I left in the middle of the 9th. I promise I’ll never leave another game again.

I once flew from New York to South Carolina to watch TN play the Gamecocks in football. TN was down double digits with like 3 and change so I left. My brother called on the way to the car and said GET BACK to the stadium. It was too late. Vols won. I’ve regretted it to this day. There’s nothing I hate more than the sound of an opposing team’s stadium when the final horn blows and the Vols lost, but now I try to stay.

I had a 5 year old with me. It was an abnormally long game. It appeared all but over.
Don't feel bad, my former boss left game 7 of the 2001 world series after 8 innings. He took his kids and said they were being terrible
