I have heard it since last night and no it isn't sour grapes because we aren't worth a crap this year. It's simple college football facts. Georgia is not going to even come close against LSU. They had the easiest SEC schedule pretty much out of every SEC team. Yes they did back into this game, and yes, they didn't play LSU, Bama, or Arkansas. Georgia has not played anyone, and I know it hurts to all the teams fans including the Vol nation, but it's true.

The truth and fact is, this year, nobody belongs on the same field as Alabama or LSU, Arkansas will falter. That being said, it's going to happen, LSU Vs Georgia in Atlanta.

My prediction and solid fact, Aaron Murray will not be able to take off and run against LSU. He will be forced to pass more, and with his sometime loft passes he throws up, he will get picked at least 3 times. The honey badger will eat him for lunch along with the rest of the Tiger defense. LSU is simply too fast, and everyone will find out that Georgia backed in and is mediocre as the rest of the east. It was just a bad year for the east, it won't be like this next year, as I do see Tennessee and Florida turning it around, but Georgia, sorry, NO CIGAR HERE. LSU WINS BIG AND HUMILIATES RICHT. There will be no surprises here, get over it.

What happens to this "fact" if LSU loses to Arkansas, UGA, and/or in the BCSCG?

1. UGA didn't back into the East this year.
2. Everyone is going to be chasing UGA in the East next year.
3. Upsets happen. LSU was supposed to kill Arkansas in 07. Remember that game?

How much money have you put down on all of these games?

After all the crap talking they displayed last night about how they will not lose to LSU in the SECCG, Not one uga fan will accept my bet of 1000 dollars that LSU will win. It's Weird, but so UGA.

I am sure there are plenty of bookies who will take that money on the spread.

1. Uga didn't back into the east this year. Yes they did, they didn't play anyone, the east was horrible, so it was an easy road. Any east team with the schedule could be playing in atlanta in december.
2. Everyone is going to be chasing uga in the east next year. No their not, uga will go 500 or less next year.
3. Upsets happen. Lsu was supposed to kill arkansas in 07. Remember that game?
no upset here, lsu will drill arkansas.

That's not their fault the East was weak. They played the hand they were dealt, and they got to ATL.

You are out of your mind if you think UGA goes .500 next year. They will be the favorites to win the East. Hate to break it to you, but we are all chasing UGA for the East next year.

I promise we won't be. My top 3 for the east, Florida, Tenn and South Carolina in no particular order. Richt will be back for another year, Grantham will most likely be gone on a head coaching gig somewhere now that he has gotten noticed, and with Richt returning, once again, he has overstayed his welcome. A coach somewhere for too long at most schools (Excluding JoePa, Bowden, and so on, is usually disaster).

Why in the hell would I pick a spread? Any points could be scored, but who's got the balls to say hey, UGA WILL BEAT LSU, I'LL TAKE THAT BET. NOT ONE DAMN SOUL.

Money-lines are not spreads. You pick the winner and you get the pay-out according to the line. There are plenty of online bookies (or local bookies in Atlanta) that will gladly take your $1,000 off your hands.

I don't understand this point. Are the UGA guys talking smack about covering a spread?

I don't understand it either. Any UGA spread prediction from UGA fans I have heard is that they will win by 10. I fell out in my floor laughing so hard my stomach hurt, hung up the phone and proceeded to puke.

One more time: money-lines are not point spreads.
