Contrary to what you may have thought, the sun did come up this morning! This VOL fan for one is relieved that we have a coach, with no more speculation or stress of wondering who the new coach will be. Its a new day for UT Football, and I look forward to the future!

Look at the idiotic contract Hart signed with Jones before you "Wow!!!" too much. Hart has sold UT down the pipes worse than Hamilton ever thought of doing.

It is not the UT fans who are the "haters." The hater is Dave Hart, a BAMA fan who hates anything Tennessee - except for his $750K paycheck.

I'll support CBJ just as I've supported all coaches and players at UT for 50 years.

I'm also 100% on board with NEVER having a gator or bammer in charge of anything at Tennessee.

So.....Hart is sabotaging his own career and future because he feels so loyal to Bama. That might be the dumbest thing I've read in quite a while.

Just read it on WBIR.com. Looks like Hart did well to protect the university, especially in this day and time of going all out to pay a coach. I like the fact that it is built with incentives, and protects UT if CBJ decides to leave.

I can live with this for now. It may just work. Hopefully Graham/Pittman get retained. Bring in Tee. Looks like his staff can coach D. Similar offense. Any chance Chaney stays? He has shown the VOLS some loyalty

I don't really think there are any haters out there, just a bunch of discusted fans that are tired of being laughed at. Let's face it our fans think more of this football program than anyone else. The media,coaches and recruits do not think very highly of UT football any more and it's embarrassing. With a total of 5 SEC wins in 3 years it's understandable of how our program is seen as third rate....Tennessee fans are a proud bunch and are emotionally hurt after watching a once storied program reduced to ashes.

I will be behind coach Jones, and give him time, but if this dont work clean house, starting from the top and bring Fulmer as AD if he will take it, got to have our own running the show instead of a BUMMER.

In two years when the Vols have a total of 6 or 7 wins, will you still be happy or are you happy with a mediocre program?

LOL, I guess I am supposed to put on a Bama hat or maybe even an Ohio State hat, and say I give up the future is doomed. Hell, maybe we all will be lucky and the Mayans will be right! No I am not happy with mediocrity, but it is what it is, and the decision has been made, so I can throw in the towel or get behind this coach and the program. I choose to support him in hopes that he can turn this thing around.

i'm sorry as of right now it looks like the same tennessee as it did the last 5 years. not saying it can't get better, but i'm not optomistic. sounds like alot of the same people that thought dooley was gonna get it done are already thinking the same about jones. jones is a better coach, but i will wait and see how his recruiting class looks. regardless i don't see myself heading to neyland next year.
