Here what begins? This team is so freaking up and down. They are infuriating to watch because of their inconsistency. They are no where near last years team at this point in the season.

I doubt this team will turn it around with all it has going against it but last yr at this time most of us would have thought the same about last yrs team compared to the team at the end of last yr.

I don't have an illusions that we will see a dramatic turnaround this year, but it is correct that most people thought that last year's team was toast in early January.

It's not quite the same. Last years team was up and down, but for the most part, they took care of teams that they should have beat. So far this year we've had inexcusable losses to Oakland, Charlotte, a CoC team that got blown out by Morehead St. and few days after running us out of TBA, and today's loss to a sorry Arkansas team that just got their doors blown off by Texas. Also their was the near miss by UTM.

That said, we've beaten every quality opponent we've faced so far this season. We just find a way to lose to some of the worst teams in the NCAA. I have no answer for it.

I guess that will work as long as we get a really low seed so we will be underdogs and they want it in March.

i've just never seen a team that can play so down to competition, it seems to me all of Pearls teams have done it but this year is insane, theres not a single loss we have that i would say the other team is better.
