You guys have a tough decision to make. Both of you will play on Sundays. Both of you have nice paydays coming. Do you take that now or do you see what another year in college will do to improve your game & draft stock? It's hard to know what to do because anything can happen and only hindsight is 20/20.

Let me make a case that some would say is purely selfish but I think speaks for the majority of Volnation:

Stay for another year. Your career at Rocky Top thus far is probably not what you envisioned while going through the recruiting process, but it's not too late to change that.

Stay for another year. Go out with a winning record and a bowl win next year.

Stay for another year. Come back and stomp the sh1t out of the teams that have gotten the best of the Vols during your time here.

Stay for another year. We have 30+ freshmen coming in who will greatly benefit from the example & leadership of a respected group of Seniors.

Stay for another year. You will still play on Sundays. You will still see a nice payday. You have unfinished business on Rocky Top.

GO VOLS!

And yes, I'm half drunk and this is my "Jesse Scroggins letter"

I don't care. I love my Vols.

My cousin works at the same job as "Tiny's" mother in Mt. Pleasant, Tn. A few days ago, his mother said " I will drag my son to meet whomever he needs to meet in order to get him to declare for the draft"

So, we can come to the realization that "Tiny" is gone!!!!!!!!

If they stay, they could end up like A. Foster and see their stock fall OR they could stay for another season and end up like Manning!!!!

You never know what could happen during next season. Back injury, knee injury, off the field disciplinary issues, etc. etc....

I admire your passion, but you are smoking some serious crack if you think anyone other than fans are going to read this.

Tiny can bounce right on outta here. Would really miss AJ though. He takes some negative hits on here, but he's a MLB. Complaining bout him not getting to the edge fast enough has always been humorous to me.

I'd miss AJ a lot more than I would Tiny. AJ and Curt anchoring the LB corps next year will go a long way towards getting the defense back to the good ol days.

I think the reason Blair committed is because he thinks he has a good shot to take Tiny's place/he will leave. Maybe not or knows/thinks can take James spot first year even if Tiny stays and move over to LT senior year

I think Butch will meet with AJ and Tiny individually in the next week or 2 and they will have the conversation about going pro or staying. Butch has proved extremely good at recruiting and his current players have bought in 110% on what he's doing. I wouldn't be surprised if he brought in some former Vols to talk to each of them about staying.

And he oughtta go for his and his family's sake. Heard from a top NFL scout last week on the radio that, despite all the gnashing of teeth from VN, Tiny is still very much a 1st rd pick. He should go and we should all wish him well.

Nobody who has a chance to earn some NFL $$$ should wait a year unless, like Peyton, they come from a family in the upper or upper middle class IMO. Go for the $$$ and bank it young men. Good Luck.

I don't think players read, or put thought to our posts, but I don't blame any player for going pro early as long as they are likely to get drafted. It seems like football careers are getting shorter and shorter. Get paid while you can.

Don't worry abut the losing record, both these guys need to improve in specific areas. I can't blame them though cuz I don't know their situation. But their stock can only go up from here.

They may elect to go, and if they do, I would understand. It's hard to turn down the almighty $.

I love my Vols and I want what is ultimately best for the program. I want them to stay because we are better with them for another year than without them.

If Tiny can go in the first round he should most definitely declare. Appreciate what you've done here, go make your money.

Antonio Richardson ‏@Antonio_Tiny74 "Words can't describe how much I love this team and these seniors. Glad we sent them out right now it's time for team #118 to prepare!" Hard to say if he's indicating he'll be a part of "team 118" or not. Not saying he's gonna stay but I also would say it's definitely on his mind at the moment.
