Only fan base with worse luck is FSU. Got snubbed by the committee, Lost to UGa by almost 60 and got put on ncaa probation. All this in a 30 day or so period. Sucks to be them

Anybody else kinda think the Seminoles getting slapped around by the NCAA was made worse by their complaining about the playoffs thing?

Most people were tired of FSU crying after an hour so they brought in on themselves.

Now, in terms of Washington-yup, fate has sodomized them this week. In the span of 4 days to get kinda blown out near the end, lose your coach, and be looking down the barrel of a B10 schedule? Oh my.

I just want to get to a point of being able to beat them at Neyland more than a couple of times every 15 years
Same. I get my hopes up every year, even when they suck. They seem to be the one team that always has our number. It's been that way since as long as I can remember.

That is too bad to even troll. Lost the natty game, coach, and QB. In what, like the same week? Brutal. Good luck.
Bama fans would have claimed good riddance to a losing coach and QB

This is why I don't envy programs on the come up as much as some do in real time. The more success they find, the more likely their coaching staff is going to get poached up and their progran fall back into irrelevancy.

b10 schedule isn't that bad... michigan played 9 cupcakes in a 12 game schedule. The b10 west champ averaged 15 points per game.

Retired now in Eastern Washington with a WSU Cougar alum for my wife, I’m sort of enjoying the situation.

Now if only something similar could happen to the Gators….

Beautiful country up there and not a bad place to spend your time.

Been rooting for WSU as my "third" or "fourth" team for about a decade now-since they hired Leach anyway. Don't recall many battles either on the field or the recruiting trail with the Cougs so they are a safe alternate team lol.

True, but still gonna be more of a challenge than the P12 I would think.

Basically next year play PennSt and Michigan where they would normally be playing Arizona or Colorado. They have Iowa on the road in an October game.

That's in addition to the normal Oregon, USC, and UCLA.

While I take every shot to the B10 I can, even I will admit that schedule is not so easy.

Ucla was a weird one to include… they’re about on par with Mississippi state or Kentucky. USC wouldn’t have made a bowl game in the SEC. So finally they play more than 2 difficult games in a season. Still easier than the easiest schedule in the SEC.
