I been notice when somebody put up post about someone on the recuit class, you all say we needed this kid so bad. Well news flash, LK and the CO. know who to recuit, who we need, and everything else. I trust them more than I trust any of you. They know how to do their job. Also they not going liston to us about who to go after. They work day, and night on coaches the the team through season, recuits, and everything that have to do with football.

We will land Harris or Selby (again), but to land them both would be outrageous!! Hopefully this staff has something up their sleeves to bring in this 2010 class but even if they do land them they still have to develop them into top talent which seems to be a problem in knoxville.

I was thinking in terms of Tyler Smith, and while that alone won't move us to the top, especially considering the school you mentioned, it does seem to have separated us from at least half of the competition, just going by the article.

... or Earl Clark. Pitino's recent PR disasters haven't seemed to negatively influence the Harris family. Don't under-estimate the Big East draw for this kid.

Everyone claiming epic fail on this......think for just a second.

He might very well be right. Lane Kiffin, Ed Orgeron, and Eddie Gran might possibly be able to recruit basketball players better than Bruce Pearl.

It's going to be easier for anyone to recruit football players to Tennessee than basketball players. That's like saying Calipari can recruit for football better than Rich Brooks.

Players of this caliber don't need to be "coached up" to the NBA level. They would get drafted next year if the one year rule wasn't imposed.
