Tobias Harris

Nice article. Good to see Tobias getting some props finally. You almost had to feel bad for 'em because his rookie season sucked because of injuries and starting slow.

Love me some Tobias Harris.

Only two things I hate about him...

1. He wasn't here longer.

2. He's a Milwaukee Buck and in the same division as my Indiana Pacers.

Aside from that, I love the guy and despite him only being here a year and playing against my Pacers, I hope he succeeds. He just seems like a really good guy and really competitive. I don't know if he'll ever be the flashiest or most athletically gifted player on the floor but he reminds me of Danny Granger. He's just a good ball player and Granger found a way to average 25 points in a season.

I really hope the best for Tobias.

I think offensively he was fine but he got less playing time because of defense and rebounding. He's more suited to play SF but might be lacking a bit athletically so they had him at PF behind Ersan and check out that guys numbers... Harris is just young and kind of a hybrid. I think he'll be fine but I actually got to follow the Bucks quite a bit since they play in the same division as the Pacers and I think I only missed 5 Pacer games all season. I kept tabs on him and I think the Bucks are bringing him along slowly. He mostly played garbage minutes at the end of the games but he was generally good in the minutes he played. He's just one of those guys that's good because he knows the game and not because he's bigger, faster or stronger than you. I would totally be happy if he has similar success to Granger. Difference is, Granger played out his college career and Tobias came out after his first season. He should develop into a fine player.

Bucks fans seem to be high on him. As has been stated, his defense is the reason he didn't see more minutes. I wouldn't cite rebounding as a reason he didn't see pt...his outside shooting is a bigger reason, in my opinion. Mbah a Moute is expected to start at the three. Defense is his strong suit, but he's a liability on offense. Pretty much the exact opposite of Tobias. He'll probably see more minutes in games where he draws an easier defensive assignment. Tobias is a scorer, pure and simple. Once his defense and outside shot consistency improve, he'll be a really good NBA player. His face up, post up, and transition skill sets are already leaps and bounds ahead of a lot of young players.

Imagine if we had Tobias going into his Junior season with Stokes and more seasoned and experienced Maymon and Golden this year. Then imagine if we had all of them a year later with Nichols and Hubbs. Im dreaming over here...

Craft and Selby were gone regardless of the BBQ. Chris Jones would have been nice.

I don't know that that's 100% accurate, but well never know, I was being sarcastic anyways. Good chance that if Tobias was here jarnell isn't.

As far as craft, there's a chance if pearl doesnt have that BBQ and ask his parents to lie they stick to the committment. As I saidt hough, well never know.

Craft was gone the minute OSU offered. He was a buckeye fan growing up. I don't think Pearl could have kept him short of locking him up somewhere in TBA.

True, but telling his dad to lie didn't help our chances at all. Not saying he'd have stayed, but we will never know. As I said, I was just being sarcastic anyways. Theres a good chance if tobias was here jarnell wouldn't be.

Same goes for Hopson too, really. If Scotty stays there isn't an available scholarship for Stokes.

Exactly. So the whole, imagine if this guy was here, and this guy came, is pointless IMO. If we're playing that game you can make one hell of a potential what could've been UT team...

Quite the what if team...

Chris Jones/ Aaron Craft
Josh Selby/ Jordan McRae
Scotty/ Ware
Tobias/ maymon
Stokes/ hall

Adonis Thomas could be on the what if team too. He basically was lost once the BBQ stuff broke. He liked Pearl He may have still went to Memphis anyway but once the crap storm started he dropped UT.
