We easily could have folded our tent when we got down by 50-42 in the 2nd half, but we gutted out a must have win !!! Gotta be proud of that effort today !!! Now, lets get 2 wins in the SEC tourney and lock up our invite to the Big Dance !!!

I just call em like I see em. Against UGA and in the first half against a pathetic Auburn team we were playing like absolute garbage. We looked like we didn't care or even deserve an NIT bid. However, today we showed tremendous grit and determination so I give credit where credit is due. I may not be a blind optimist fan, but I am definitely a huge fan nonetheless. I'm proud of the Vols today. This effort was worthy of praise !!!

I don't care what you want to call it. I'll praise them and be happy when I think they deserve it, and I'll criticize them when I think they deserve it. That's just how it is.

That's what you shouldn't be an idiot and make stupid threads like you did before the games were over. Now you look like a backtracking jackass.

Whatever you want to think. I don't care. At the time I made that post I was thoroughly disgusted because they were playing like garbage. At that time they deserved much criticism. Today however, they deserve praise so that's what I'm giving them. If they tank in the SEC then I'll be critical again. If they do what they should win 2 games and make the NCAA then I'll happily give them praise. Win or lose I'll still be a fan, but my criticism or praise depends upon their performance.

I'm proud of the Vols as well. However I've always thought making extreme threads (positive or negative) is kind of unnecessary, esp. If they are premature. Bottom line, things change quickly. Happens all the time in sports and life. Isn't it weird how after the "cuonzo must be fired asap" thread was made we won 6 straight, and after the "lol at CCM haters" thread was made we lost to Georgia?

Well said. When they were 11-10 this year they looked like a bad basketball team. When they won 6 in a row their effort and execution was much better and they looked like a very good basketball team.... not so much in the Georgia and Auburn games. And then there's today when.... You get the point. Either way, very proud of and like this team. Awesome to see them celebrate after the big W!

OP if you only understood sports it would help. Your going to have good and bad days. Even superstars have off days!!!! To call a team or coach out over it is childish!! I know, I know you don't care what anyone thinks. But you must think we care what you think cause you keep starting these threads. So if you keep starting, we'll keep giving ya our advise!!!

What you posted was well beyond criticism, you posted that we weren't in NCAAT as if it were fact. No one ever said Martin didn't deserve criticism, but most of us have sense enough not to make stupid declarations before the season is played out.
