I've had the chance to converse with this young man as of late. What a wonderful kid, will be a great addition to the big orange family. He seems to be someone that will represent the university the way you would hope for. I happy to welcome him.

REX, this is exactly what I was saying earlier this year in the thread on him when he first signed.

I don't personally know the kid, but I know his father fairly well. Based solely on that, I assure everyone that this kid is a class act, no questions asked. We will never have to worry about reading about him selling crack or beating his girlfriend or anything else we have grown used to reading about our players.

I have heard him compared to Kelly Washington by several people. I am not saying he is going to be as gifted as Kelly, but that is the type of athlete he is supposed to be and without the attitude.

...and he has another year of high school to improve

I have no doubt he will represent UT well.

I don't know many busy crack dealers that have time for football practice.

Lex has his thumb on the pulse of Lexington's dark underworld drug culture, he rolls like that.

After the Balco scandal the dealers I know won't deal with baseball players. Especially Mets.
